Veterans Benefits Assistance Program

Residents at Quincy Village raising the American Flag.Presbyterian Senior Living is pleased to assist all veterans of the US Armed Forces and their surviving spouses who may have entitlement to a variety of benefits from the Department of Veterans Affairs.

The Department of Veterans Affairs offers a special benefit for our honored veterans who served on active duty during a time of war. This benefit is also available to surviving spouses of a war time veteran.

  • Veteran Non Service Connected Pension with aid and attendance
  • Widows Pension with aid and attendance

Veterans and surviving spouses requiring assistance with their daily living activities (provided by Personal Care, Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing care facilities or private in-home caregivers) and meet specific eligibility criteria may be eligible for a monthly tax free benefit.

Our Veterans Assistance Specialist will meet with you privately to review your individual situation.  There is no cost for this service which can help you:

  • Determine if you may be eligible for benefits
  • Determine if you may be eligible to receive additional benefits
  • Complete the application paperwork and file with the VA

*Eligibility for most VA benefits is based on honorable discharge from active military service.
