As with all levels in our continuum of care, our licensed nursing staff works in concert with residents and their families, as well as the rest of our team, to ensure each individual’s needs are met and that services are adjusted as those needs change. In addition, if you are admitted for a respite stay, recuperative care or short stay rehabilitation, our discharge planning support will help to ensure that everything is ready for your return home.
Our Skilled Nursing residents also have full access to our state-of-the-art Fitness and Aquatic Center, as well as our full-time exercise physiologist. Our off-menu, restaurant-style dining is also very highly regarded by our Skilled Nursing residents.

We are pleased to be one of the first in our area to utilize Point of Care, Millennium and the Dakim BrainFitness System – in addition, Touchtown TV greatly enhances internal communication.
Point of Care is a real-time computerized resident information system which enables licensed nursing staff as well as nursing assistants to access resident care needs and assignment information. This enables them to complete documentation at the time the observation and care occur. Armed with laptops and using a simple point and click interface, users can document with accuracy and speed. Security allows users profile-based access to specific information and documentation, which helps to ensure security of personal health information. Nursing assistants are now “charting as they go” instead of waiting until the end of their shifts and trying to remember what happened throughout the day. It also enables the charge nurse to monitor resident care from any computer.
The Millennium Pharmacy System is also a computerized system designed to deliver significant benefits to the long term care industry, including increased nursing efficiency and enhanced resident safety.
When you have a few minutes, take time to ask one of the nursing staff about both Point of Care and Millennium.
The Dakim BrainFitness System is designed to enable seniors to use rigorous cognitive stimulation to prevent or slow the development of dementia. It recognizes the therapeutic and emotional value of mental stimulation and engages the brain with challenging exercises across six cognitive domains. These include short- and long-term memory, language, calculation, visuospatial-orientation and critical thinking. Our residents enjoy this advanced, effective, user-friendly and entertaining way to enhance their quality of life.
Touchtown TV delivers community messages directly to residents through their existing televisions. By watching Touchtown’s in-house TV channel, they have instant access to community announcements, event schedules, dining menus and more on their very own televisions.
